Our Journey so far
Where did it all begin?
Successful start-ups IrisVR and The Wild were founded in 2014 and 2017 respectively. They pioneered the use of real-time immersive technology to collaborate using VR for the AEC industry.
What happened next?
In February 2021, The Wild seized its opportunity to acquire Prospect, Iris VR’s flagship product, choosing to combine forces in order to best serve the AEC industry and beyond.
With a shared vision to shape the future of immersive collaboration for teams, these two revolutionary products became stronger together.
After looking to meet the increasing needs for AR and VR technology advancements within the AEC industry, Autodesk acquired The Wild in April 2022 to develop an XR design review solution for AEC teams.
